The KEIBIDROP Android app sends photos, videos and any other file from the phone straight to a computer running the desktop app. Install both, swap the code once, then pick the files on the phone and press Send. The computer shows them right away and saves them with one press. Nothing goes through a cloud and there is no account.
Install on the phone through F-Droid, and on the computer.
Connect once. On the phone press Copy under Your Code and send it to yourself in any chat. On the computer paste it and press Add, then copy the computer's code and paste it into the phone. Both press Connect.
On the phone pick the photos or videos and press Send. On the computer press Save, or Save All. They land in the Saved Files folder.
Drop a file onto the computer's window and it appears on the phone, where one tap saves it. Save each other as contacts once and the code exchange is gone for good.
There is no iPhone app yet. Between two computers, or a computer and an Android phone, everything above applies.
Yes. The phone and the computer connect across the internet through an encrypted relay when a direct path is blocked. Mobile data counts against your plan as usual.
The app is published through our own F-Droid repository today, signed by us, so updates arrive like any other app once the repository is added.
