Send a file from one browser to another, nothing to install
You both open web.keibidrop.com, connect with a code once, and drop the file onto the page. The other person presses Save. There's nothing to install, no account and no upload to a cloud.
The two tabs talk through our bridge, which passes along encrypted pieces it can't read, and the encryption is quantum-safe. It works on a work laptop where you can't install apps, or on a computer that isn't yours.
Send a file from your browser
- You both open web.keibidrop.com in Chrome or Brave.
- You press Copy invite link and send the link to the other person.
- They open it. Their page says "Code received from your invite link. Press Connect."
- They press Copy under their code and send it back. You paste it into the code field.
- You both press Connect.
- Press + or drag files onto the page. They press Play on a video or song, View on a PDF or photo, or Save to keep a copy. Save All gets everything.
Keep both tabs open until it's saved
The file comes from the other person's tab, so that tab has to stay open until Save finishes. The page asks before you close it while a transfer is running, and files that already finished stay saved. Save All asks once for a folder and remembers it; choosing a folder needs a browser with folder access, such as Chrome. In other browsers, each file comes as a normal download.

Private the whole way
The file is encrypted in your tab and decrypted in theirs. Our bridge only forwards the encrypted pieces, so it never sees the file, its name or its size. Close the tab and nothing is left on a server.
The key exchange combines ML-KEM-1024, a post-quantum algorithm in NIST's highest security category, with X25519, so both would have to be broken. Details on the security page.
Both tabs need to stay open while the file moves. For very big files or whole folders, the desktop app keeps going in the background and doesn't depend on a tab: install it here, free.
